What personal information this website collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Who we are
EVER MOVING & SERVICES LTD ("we", "us", "our") provides moving, removals and cleaning services across the United Kingdom and Europe. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, what we do with it and what rights you have over it.
For the purposes of UK data protection law — the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 — the data controller is EVER MOVING & SERVICES LTD. You can reach EVER MOVING & SERVICES LTD by email at Info@evermoves.co.uk, or by phone on 020 3983 2533, or on WhatsApp at +44 7454 116757, or through the contact form on this website. If you have any questions about this policy, or about how your information is handled, please get in touch.
What information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us. This website has no account system, no login, and we do not buy personal data from third parties or scrape it from anywhere else.
When you complete the quote form or the contact form, we collect:
- Your name, email address and telephone number
- Your preferred method of contact
- The postcodes and addresses relevant to your job — collection, destination, or the property to be cleaned
- Property details such as type, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and approximate size
- The services you are interested in, your preferred dates and any frequency
- Anything else you write in the free-text fields
Information we do not collect
We do not ask for payment card details through this website. We do not collect special category data — such as health, religious or biometric information — and you should not send it to us through the forms.
Please avoid including information about other people in your enquiry unless it is genuinely necessary for the job. If you do, please make sure they are content for you to share it.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use the information you submit to prepare and return your quote, to answer your enquiry, and to plan and carry out the work if you decide to go ahead.
Our lawful basis for this is Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR: processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to perform that contract if you proceed.
Where we keep records of completed work, our lawful basis is Article 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in maintaining accurate business records and being able to respond to queries or claims — and Article 6(1)(c), compliance with legal obligations such as tax record-keeping.
We do not use your details for marketing unless you have separately and clearly asked us to. There is no marketing sign-up on this website.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we never share it for anyone else's marketing.
Enquiries submitted through this website are delivered straight to our own company mailbox over an encrypted SMTP connection. Our email hosting provider, Hostinger, acts as our processor for that mailbox — your enquiry passes through their mail servers in order to reach us, in the same way any email to us would.
Where a job requires it, we may share the details necessary to carry out the work with team members or sub-contractors assigned to it — for example the collection and delivery addresses and your contact number so they can reach you on the day. They receive only what they need.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Any additional processors we use will be listed here: [TO BE CONFIRMED].
Transfers outside the UK
Our email hosting is provided by Hostinger, whose infrastructure is located in the European Economic Area. Transfers from the UK to the EEA are covered by the UK's adequacy regulations, so your information continues to receive an equivalent level of protection without any additional safeguard being required.
Where personal data does need to go somewhere without an adequacy decision, we rely on the safeguards permitted under Article 46 UK GDPR — such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
If you carry out a move to or from mainland Europe, the details needed to complete that job may also be shared with parties in the destination country for that purpose.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for [TO BE CONFIRMED] and then deleted. Records relating to completed work are kept for [TO BE CONFIRMED], reflecting our legal, accounting and insurance obligations.
Anything you send us afterwards by email or WhatsApp — photographs of the job, for example — is kept with that enquiry and deleted on the same schedule.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Be told how your information is used — which is the purpose of this policy
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Have inaccurate information corrected
- Ask us to delete your information, where there is no overriding reason for us to keep it
- Ask us to restrict how we use it while a concern is resolved
- Object to processing carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests
- Ask us to transfer your information to you or another provider in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we have relied on consent
How to exercise your rights, or complain
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We will respond within one month. There is no charge, though we may ask you to confirm your identity so that we do not disclose your information to somebody else.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Security
This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and information submitted through our forms is transmitted securely.
We limit access to enquiry information to the people who need it to quote for or carry out the work. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take reasonable and proportionate steps to protect what you send us.
Cookies
This website sets no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our Cookie Policy explains this in full.
Children
This website and our services are aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect information about children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date shown at the top. This version was last updated on 2 August 2026.
