Cookie Policy

Which cookies this website sets, which it deliberately does not, and how to control them.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They are used for everything from keeping you logged in to tracking you across the internet for advertising.

This website is deliberately light on them.

What this site uses

At present this site sets no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, social media trackers or session-recording tools.

That is a deliberate choice rather than an oversight. It also means you will not see a cookie consent banner on this site, because there is nothing here that requires your consent.

Strictly necessary cookies

When you submit the quote form or the contact form, the framework this site is built on may set a short-lived cookie or token in order to process your submission securely and to prevent forged cross-site requests.

These are strictly necessary for the forms to work. Under regulation 6(4) of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, and they are not used to track you or to build any profile of you.

What we do not do

  • We do not track you across other websites
  • We do not build advertising or behavioural profiles
  • We do not sell or share browsing data with third parties
  • We do not use cookies to identify you personally
  • We do not record your screen or mouse movements

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and every major browser lets you do this. Because this site does not rely on non-essential cookies, blocking them will not affect your ability to browse.

Blocking all cookies entirely may prevent the quote and contact forms from submitting, since the security token described above cannot then be set.

If this changes

If analytics or marketing tools are added to this website in future, this page will be updated and a compliant consent mechanism will be added before any non-essential cookies are set.
