It takes considerably longer than a standard clean and usually involves a team rather than one person. That is the nature of the job — done properly, it resets a property to a standard that regular cleaning can then maintain.

How long does a deep clean take?
Considerably longer than a regular clean — often most of a day for a typical house, and longer if the property is large or in poor condition. We give you a realistic estimate for your property rather than a standard figure.
How is this different from an end-of-tenancy clean?
The work overlaps heavily, but an end-of-tenancy clean is aimed specifically at handing a property back at check-out and is done to an empty property. A deep clean can happen at any time, whether the property is occupied or not.
Should the property be empty?
It does not have to be, but the more clear the surfaces and floors are, the more we can reach and the better the result. If the property is furnished, clearing worktops and floors beforehand makes a real difference.
Do you clean inside the oven as part of a deep clean?
Oven interiors are a specialist job with their own process and timing. Tell us when booking if you want it included and we will add it, rather than leaving you to discover it was not covered.
Will one deep clean be enough?
A deep clean resets the property. Keeping it there is what regular domestic cleaning is for — most people follow a deep clean with a weekly or fortnightly booking.
