About our oven & appliance cleaning service
Oven cleaning is the household job people put off longest, and with reason: baked-on carbon does not come off with a spray and a cloth. It needs proper degreasing, time to work and the removable parts taken out and cleaned separately.
We dismantle what comes out — racks, trays, shelf runners, the inner door glass on most models, extractor filters — and clean each part properly rather than wiping around them. The door glass in particular is what makes an oven look clean or not.
Beyond the oven we clean hobs, extractors, microwaves, fridges and freezers. It is one of the most visibly satisfying cleaning jobs there is, and one of the most commonly checked at a tenancy inspection.

The questions we get asked most about this service.
How long does an oven clean take?
A standard single oven usually takes a couple of hours. Double ovens and range cookers take longer, and a heavily built-up oven longer again. We will give you a realistic time for yours.
Can I use the oven straight afterwards?
Yes. We wipe down all cleaned surfaces so the oven is ready to use when we finish, with no residue left behind.
Do you clean between the door glass?
On most models, yes — the door panels can be separated for cleaning. On some designs the glass is sealed and cannot be accessed without damaging the door, and where that is the case we will tell you rather than force it.
Do I need to empty the fridge or freezer first?
Yes, please empty them before we arrive. Freezers need defrosting too, so switch them off in good time — otherwise we cannot clean them on the day.
Will a very dirty oven come up clean?
Usually far better than people expect. Heavy carbon deposits can leave some permanent discolouration on the metal, and if that is the case with yours we will point it out rather than let you expect a factory finish.
