We clean fitted carpets, stairs and loose rugs. Before starting we check the fibre type, because wool, synthetic and natural-fibre rugs need different handling, and getting that wrong is how carpets get damaged.

How long will my carpets take to dry?
Usually a few hours, depending on the carpet, how soiled it was and the ventilation in the room. We extract as much moisture as possible and will tell you what to expect before we leave. Keeping windows open and heating on speeds it up considerably.
Will you get every stain out?
Many marks lift completely, but not all. Some substances permanently dye the fibre, and older stains that have been scrubbed or previously treated are harder to shift. We will tell you honestly what we expect to achieve before starting rather than promising a result we cannot deliver.
Do I need to move the furniture?
Clearing smaller items and anything on the floor helps a lot. Tell us in advance about larger furniture and we will agree what is being moved and what we are cleaning around.
Is it safe for wool carpets and natural rugs?
Yes, provided the right method is used — which is exactly why we check the fibre before starting. Wool and natural fibres need different handling from synthetics, and using the wrong approach can shrink or damage them.
How often should carpets be professionally cleaned?
For most households, around once a year, and more often in high-traffic areas or homes with pets. Regular vacuuming between cleans makes a substantial difference to how long the result lasts.
