Not every move needs a full removals crew. A single wardrobe, a studio flat, a marketplace collection or a run to a storage unit is often better handled by a van and a driver who can help with the lifting.
Our man and van service is deliberately flexible. You can book it by the hour for a short job, or for a half or full day if you have several drop-offs to work through. We will tell you honestly if what you are describing would actually be better as a full house removal.
It is the same careful handling as a larger move — blankets, straps and proper loading — just scaled to the size of the job and priced accordingly.

How is a man and van job priced?
Usually by the hour with a minimum booking, or as a fixed price if the job is straightforward and we know exactly what is involved. We will tell you which applies when we quote so there are no surprises.
Will the driver help me carry things?
Yes — that is the point of the service. If the items are especially heavy, or there are several flights of stairs, we may recommend a second person, and we will say so upfront rather than on the day.
Can you do same-day or next-day jobs?
Often, yes. Smaller jobs are easier to fit in at short notice than full house moves. Get in touch with the details and we will tell you what is genuinely available.
Is a man and van big enough for my flat move?
For a studio or small one-bedroom flat it usually is, sometimes over two trips. If what you describe sounds like more than a van can sensibly handle, we will recommend our house removals service instead — it is generally better value than repeated trips.
Can you take things away for disposal at the same time?
Yes. If you have items you no longer want, our waste and bulk removal service can deal with them in the same visit.
